S.P. Shukla is a Member of the Group Executive Board of Mahindra & Mahindra Limited and as Group President, he is responsible for the Aerospace, Defence & Steel sector. In this position, he is the Chairman of the boards of several companies engaged in designing and producing aircrafts, armoured vehicles, radars, naval systems and specialty steel.
A B. Tech. & MBA, he has 38 years of rich, varied experience in managing large projects and operations. He has been a top professional in the field of Automotive Tyres and Information & Communication Technology (ICT) sectors in India and is widely credited with taking mobile telephony to the masses by setting-up telecom infrastructure in the remotest parts of India.
Prior to his current role, Shukla served as President of Group Strategy and Chief Brand officer of the Mahindra Group. He oversaw and orchestrated a complete makeover of the visual identity of the Mahindra Group. It was during this period that Group Strategy Office launched and institutionalized Rise Prize (with Prize money of US $ 1 Million) that aims to foster and develop the innovation eco-system in India. He has also been responsible for Mahindra Racing portfolio – both MotoGP (Motorcycle) and Formula E (Electric Cars) in his capacity as Chief Brand Officer.
He also served as Chairman of Group Brand Council & Member of the Investment Committee of Mahindra Partners and continues to serve as the Chairman of Mahindra Innovation Academy. He has also served as director on the Boards of Group companies such as Bristlecone, USA & Mahindra First Choice Services, India. Additionally, he is a director on the Boards of CIE, Spain and Mahindra CIE, India.
Mr Shukla is affiliated with several renowned industry forums. He is a member of the India-Spain CEOs Forum, Indo-French CEOs Forum, India-Israel CEOs Forum, Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry and India UAE Joint Working Group on Trade, Industry & Investment. He is the Co-Chairman of FICCI Committee on Defence and CII National Council on Aerospace and a member of the Technology Development Board, Government of India.
Mr. Yasukazu Unigame has a Master’s Degree in Metallurgy from Graduate School of Osaka University, Japan and Master’s Degree in Materials Science from Graduate School of Drexel University, USA. He joined Sanyo Special Steel Co., Ltd. in April 1980.
He was appointed as the Chief Technical Officer (CTO) of the Company with effect from 1st April, 2017, as nominated by Sanyo Special Steel Co., Ltd, Japan. Before joining the Company as CTO, he was working with Sanyo as General Manager, Corporate Planning Department and Indian Joint Venture Administration Office. He has been appointed as the Managing Director of the Company with effect from 6th August, 2018.
Mr. Mukul Verma is a Commerce Graduate and Associate member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICA).
Mr. Verma has been with the Mahindra Group for more than 8 years and has a past experience of more than 19 years in various capacities at organizations of repute. He has broad ranging cross-functional experience across several industries in roles like corporate finance, accounting, audits, strategy and other commercial functions.
At present, Mr. Verma is the Chief Financial Officer at Mahindra Defence Systems Ltd.
Mr. Katsu Yanagimoto is a graduate in metallurgical engineering from Tokyo University. After completing his graduation he joined Sanyo Special Steel Co., Ltd., (Sanyo) in the year 1984. During the tenure of his employment in the Company, he has acquired wide variety of research and technical experience, especially in the field of powder metallurgy, functional material and processing of high-clean specialty steel, He got master’s degree from College of Engineering, Department of Materials Science, University of California, Berkeley in the year 1992. In the year 2012, he was designated as Director of Sanyo.
Mr. Toru Kojima graduated from "Waseda University" in 1995 with a Bachelor’s degree in politics and joined Mitsui upon his graduation. Mr. Kojima presently holding position of General Manager – Business Development Dept., Mitsui, Tokyo. He has over 20 years of experience and held various positions in the Mitsui Group, engaged mainly in the mineral resources investments and trading. In 2016, he was appointed as General Manager of Service Centre Dept. where he was fully responsible for the planning and administration for strategy and operations.
Mr. Takahashi is a graduate from Tohoku University in the year 1982 and joined Nippon Steel. Since entering the company, he had acquired wide cross-functional experience, especially in finance, audit & general affairs and had experienced to work at several offices of Nippon Steel. In 2014, he was designated as Director of Sanyo Special Steel.
