Mr. Shukla is a Member of the Group Executive Board and as President is responsible for Group Strategy and the Defense Sector. He is also the Chief Brand Officer for the Mahindra Group.

A B. Tech & MBA, he has over three decades of rich, varied experience in managing large projects & operations. He is a top professional in the field of Automotive Tyres and Information & Communication Technology (ICT) sectors in India. Also, he is widely credited with taking mobile telephony to the masses by setting-up telecom infrastructure in the remotest parts of India.

The Group Strategy Office comprises of the Office of Strategy Management (OSM), Office of Risk Management (ORM), Chief Economist, Brand Council, Sports initiatives as well as the Center for Rural Insights & Strategy. In 2013, he oversaw and orchestrated a complete makeover of the Visual Identity of the Mahindra Group, as Mahindra gears up to be amongst the most admired global brands within a decade. The latest initiative out of GSO is Rise Prize with prize money of USD 1 Million to promote innovations in India in identified areas (Driverless Car & DIY Solar Kits)

As President of Defense Sector, he is Chairman of several companies engaged in developing and producing equipment to serve the needs of all three wings of the defense forces. He also serves on the boards of several Mahindra Group companies in different sectors such as Bristlecone (USA), Mahindra Retail, Mahindra First Choice Services Ltd. Additionally, he is a member of the Investment Committee of Mahindra Partners which oversees the Group's foray into new ventures such as Solar Energy, Retail, Logistics and our Yacht business.

He also oversees cultural outreach programmes such as the Mahindra Blues Festival, Mumbai, & Mahindra Excellence in Theatre Awards, New Delhi. He is also Chairman of Mahindra Racing, Italy, and leads several such initiatives in the sports arena.

Shukla has been the recipient of several awards in his field and is regularly invited to speak at reputed academic and industry fora.


Mr. Uday Gupta is Bachelor of Engineering with 1st class honors, from Jadavpur University, Kolkata & M. Tech from IIT Chennai where he was the recipient of A Grade Merit Award.

Mr. Gupta was appointed as the CEO of Steel Division of the Company in the year 2008 and thereafter Managing Director of Mahindra Ugine Steel Co Ltd (MUSCO) in 2011.

Mr. Uday Gupta has worked as Executive Director of First Aluminum Nigeria Plc Group, a Company listed in Nigeria Stock Exchange, heading the Profit Centre of Rolling Mill & Coating Division in the Company. Mr. Gupta was a member of the Audit Committee of the Board of First Aluminum.


Mr. Ajay Kumar Mantry, is presently working as the Chief Finance Officer of Mahindra Aerospace Pvt. Ltd., heading Finance, IT & Legal function for the Aircraft and Aerostructures Business.

Mr. Ajay Kumar Mantry is a finance professional with over 20 years of experience in fund raising, Project funding, Investor interaction, Risk management, Strategic planning Cost Management, Mergers & Acquisitions, Working capital management, Supply chain management, Commercial operation , Legal Affairs & IT.

Mr. Ajay Kumar Mantry is a graduate in B.Com (Hons) from Xt. Xaviers' College, Kolkata. He is a fellow member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICA) and also a member of Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India (ICWA).

Mr. Ajay Kumar Mantry has also worked for renowned Companies and held various important positions in Polyset Plastics Ltd., Tata Yutaka Autocomp Ltd., Mahindra Forgings Ltd.


Mr. Daljit Mirchandani is a Graduate Engineer from Birla Institute of Technology. Beginning his career in 1971, he rose to the position of Executive Director in Kirloskar Oil Engines, flagship company of the Kirloskar Group in 1992. Between 1992 and 1997, Mr. Mirchandani set up first in kind, Pig Iron manufacturing facility with capacity of 500,000 TPA together with integrated state-of-the-art Foundry with capacity of 60,000 TPA. In 1998, Mr. Mirchandani joined Ingersoll-Rand India as the Chairman & Managing Director and retired in 2008.

In 2005, he was the Chairman of the Karnataka State Council of the CII, and in 2007 was nominated by the CII to be the Chairman of the Task Force formed by the Ministry of Agriculture, to examine and recommend policy interventions and set technical standards for the formation of the Cold Chain Infrastructure in India for Fresh Fruits and Vegetables.

Implementation of these recommendations has been initiated by the Ministry of Agriculture. Presently, in partnership with the Sarva Shikhsha Abhiyan, flagship project of Government for India for achievement of universalization of Elementary Education (UEE) Mr. Mirchandani is working on the development of a scalable model in the space of primary and secondary education for the poorest of the poor to bring the joy of learning and improve the quality of education for children enrolled in Government Aided schools in Rural Maharashtra.

Mr. Mirchandani serves on the advisory and statutory Board of various Companies in the space of Bio Fuels, Infrastructure Development, Infrastructure Finance, Forgings and a MNC.


Mr. Katsu Yanagimoto is a graduate in metallurgical engineering from Tokyo University. After completing his graduation he joined Sanyo Special Steel Co., Ltd., (Sanyo) in the year 1984. During the tenure of his employment in the Company, he has acquired wide variety of research and technical experience, especially in the field of powder metallurgy, functional material and processing of high-clean specialty steel, He got master’s degree from College of Engineering, Department of Materials Science, University of California, Berkeley in the year 1992. In the year 2012, he was designated as Director of Sanyo.


Mr. Naota Komaki graduated from "Hitotsubashi University" in 1996 with a Bachelor's degree in Economics and joined Mitsui upon his graduation. Mr. Komaki presently holding position of General Manager – Infrastructure & Energy Dept., Mitsui, Tokyo. He has over 20 years of experience and held various positions in the Mitsui Group and handled e-market business in steel Industry, M&A Project's strategy planning in metal segment, Sales & Marketing. In 2005, he was appointed as Vice President of Mitsui, Steel, Inc. where he was fully responsible for the planning and administration for the firm's business strategy and operations and entrusted with directing allocated resources, including planning, personnel, budget, finance, marketing, and general affairs.


Mr. Takahashi is a graduate from Tohoku University in the year 1982 and joined Nippon Steel. Since entering the company, he had acquired wide cross-functional experience, especially in finance, audit & general affairs and had experienced to work at several offices of Nippon Steel. In 2014, he was designated as Director of Sanyo Special Steel.


Ms. Jayashree Vaidhyanathan is a Bachelor of Computer Engineering, M.B.A from Cornell University, and CFA Charter holder from AIMR, USA. Ms. Jayashree has more than 20 years' experience in driving product strategy, risk management, M&A functions, management consulting and technology for Fortune 100 companies. She is focused on core revenue generation, cost optimization, productivity, change management, people management, and innovation. Ms. Jayashree has in-depth understanding of financial markets that enable successful product-strategy development with a focus on profitability, ability to anticipate market trends, and enhance value in highly competitive markets. She has core experience in Financial Services, Management Consulting, Outsourcing advisory and technology.

Ms. Jayashree has won numerous awards to her credit including recent one as the Top Asian Business leader and a sought-out speaker in national and international forums (across Europe, US, China and Aus). She is a U.S citizen with authorization to work in India.

Ms. Jayashree presently working with Standard Chartered Bank, as an Executive Vice President - Technology, Strategy and Strategic Transformation. She leads business operations for managing technology and strategic transformation for the bank. Manage g team of 6000 people across Wholesale Banking, Consumer Banking, Core banking and Group functions. Identified, analyzed and resolved diverse issues, while continuously maintaining top performance and offering superior program and services.

She has managed to achieve the generated business revenue to the tune of USD 150Million. She is Responsible for strategic direction and execution of both products and services for Standard Chartered globally thru the role as executive in the Global Technology Management Committee and in the Global Strategy and Innovation committees. Responsibility for technology development and service delivery for over 75% of Standard Chartered Bank's global technology needs. Also lead large transformation programs including the global financial transformation program.

Apart from her above achievements, she is also responsible for New products and Innovations which includes innovation lab in Chennai in coordination with the CB Head of strategy and CB stakeholders, leading to revenue generation of USD20 million. She has developed several new products including Biometric ATM, virtual banker, integrated channels, next-gen banking and social media to cater to requirements in various countries. Ms. Jayashree is also involved in the process and people Management. She has been credited with maintaining employee satisfaction rating at highest levels within SCB group (Gallup Survey).

Ms. Jayashree has also worked with several renowned Companies in India and abroad and held various positions, in the Companies like Accenture, HCL, Technologies, Merrillynch, CIBC world Markets, AT&T, Household Financecorp.

Ms. Jayashree has also done her training and holding certificates for Series 7 & 63 Licenses.
